Running is part of the lives of a multitude of people who congregate in the races that are usually held on weekends, it can be said that running is fashionable, the practice of exercise produces multiple benefits for the body, but this is not Something new for those of us who have been involved in this sport for many years. Running in the streets, in the park, on the athletic track, in the countryside or on the beach is something that goes beyond the mere practice of sports, in reality is much deeper than that, more spiritual than an outsider can believe, it is simple, after one step and another, to the rhythm of music, the brains disconnect “really” from everything else, it is certainly the better way to start again later, as a real reset that will restore you to the world.
I practice athletics since 2002 and since then I have lived all kinds of experiences, either alone or as a team, and always getting the same conclusion, sport is a cornerstone in my life, it helps me to be a better person, to be more focused to approach problems from a different perspective, taking a slight advantage (or at least to have that feeling).
Running helps you to approach problems in a different way, takes away the negativity from you and sees everything in a much more optimistic way, ideal to overcome any challenge that may appear, not only in sport .
When running is surely one of the biggest dilemmas that every runner can find, but either before or after the workday the experience is fantastic.
If I run before the day, I force myself to get up early, even if it’s an hour before, and the moment you force your body to the sport, you’re forcing it to wake up definitively, to activate, and it shows when you arrive at the office , because you do not need any more encouragement, you’ve been running for a long time, while the rest of the classmates need that first coffee, sit down, turn on the computer …
And if I do it after the day, it helps me to press my particular restart, to eliminate any possible negativity, and to start again with the same enthusiasm as the day before.
Carrying a healthy and positive life , based on Olympic and sporting values, I think it has been one of the best choices, that’s why I take running as an authentic philosophy of life.
